Admission requirements for Singapore

NUS and NTU expect strong academic records; English tests may be waived for English-medium graduates in some programs.

Your institution registers you on ICA's SOLAR system; you then complete the online eForm 16 and receive an in-principle approval.

Work rights

Working in Singapore during and after your studies

While you study

Full-time students at approved institutions can work up to 16 hours a week during term and full-time in vacations.

After graduation

Graduates can apply for a Long-Term Visit Pass to job-hunt, then an Employment Pass assessed under the COMPASS framework.

  • Tuition Grant recipients must work for a Singapore entity for 3 years after graduation.
